* Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant technical area * Build capacity among staff, partners and other stakeholders around GYSI. * Coordinate with cross-cutting services – Communications, Institutional Strengthening and Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) team to develop and implement GYSI-responsive interventions across project activities * Design and implement gender and youth analyses, toolkits, guides and other resources * Collaborate with members of the Liberia CWA project team to integrate GYSI considerations into technical work planning, activities, reports, workshops, and leadership * Develop, implement, and provide technical and managerial oversight over Liberia CWA’s GYSI strategy This long-term position is based in Monrovia, Liberia. Gender, Youth, and Social Inclusion Advisor: The Gender, Youth, and Social Inclusion (GYSI) Advisor will be responsible for leading the implementation and monitoring the integration of women, youth and vulnerable populations into Liberia CWA activities.
* Coordinate with government and civil society institutions and provide thought leadership on policy matters in the forest and land sectors. * Coordinate with cross-cutting services – Communications, Institutional Strengthening and Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) team to develop and implement policy advocacy tools that are relevant across project activities * Contribute written input to program planning and reports * Design and implement policy analyses, toolkits, guides and other resources * Collaborate with members of the Liberia CWA project team to identify policy challenges in the forest and land sectors * Develop, implement, and provide technical and managerial oversight over Liberia CWA’s strategy for policy analysis and advocacy Policy Advisor: The Policy Advisor will conduct and manage policy analyses in the forest and land sectors and will provide policy and technical guidance to the COP and to other technical staff.
